The Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) Recognizes AmeriCare’s Innovation and Vision for Eighth Year.

(Troy, Michigan) – July 15, 2014 – The Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc. (CHAP) announced that AmeriCare Medical, Inc. has been awarded accreditation under the CHAP Care Standards of Excellence for Home Care Nursing and Staffing, Specialty Pharmacy and Medical Equipment and Supply. The accreditation comes after an exhaustive review of every aspect of AmeriCare’s three subsidiaries, AmeriStaff Nursing Services, Sun Medical Equipment and Rx IV Infusion Pharmacy. The on-site evaluation focused on structure and function, quality of services and products, human and financial resources, and long-term viability.

One of CHAP’s primary objectives is to enable home health care companies and other health care organizations to develop and maintain state-of-the-art national standards of excellence. A CHAP team member said that it was “extremely rare” for an organization to score as well as AmeriCare Medical did during their survey for medical staffing, private duty nursing, durable medical equipment and pharmacy services, simultaneously. “We are pleased that AmeriCare Medical, Inc. chose CHAP accreditation,” said Michael S.
